ENA Utility Street Works 2012

Energy Networks Association held a 1-day seminar ‘Utility Street Works’ on 26 April 2012 at the Institution of Civil Engineers, One Great George Street, London.

This year’s event provided a platform for the launch of a ‘Safe Digging Charter’ that was introduced by Norman Baker MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport. The Charter was also endorsed by Health and Safety Executive. In an Olympic year and with ever increasing pressure on utilities to replace ageing infrastructure in crowded urban environments - and with minimal disruption - the event provided an ideal opportunity to hear from experts in the field, network with peers, and of course sample the supporting industry exhibition.
